COMMONWEALTH - HEMISFAIR

The goal of this project was to refresh a historic building while working within its strict preservation limits. Both the exterior and interior offered little flexibility for major changes, but the vision was to create a space that feels timeless and inviting, while also bringing in a sense of fun to reflect its location beside Yanaguana Park. The design strikes a balance between sophistication and vibrancy. Thoughtful details bring in moments of playfulness and visual stimulation for families and visitors coming from the park, while ensuring the space remains welcoming and enduring. The standout feature is a bold black-and-white swirl wallpaper, which anchors the design and adds a memorable touch that reflects both the brand and the lively context of the site.
