Designed for a pair of vibrant empty nesters who love the energy of city life, this home reflects both their passion for hosting and their connection to San Antonio’s culture. The client’s vision balanced her affinity for contemporary style with a desire to celebrate the city’s distinctive character. The design embraces contrast, bold color pairings meet clean, modern lines, while creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Chic finishes are softened with playful touches, ensuring that the home feels both polished and approachable. In the guest bedroom, we leaned fully into the San Antonio vibe, curating a selection of artwork exclusively from local artists. This space not only highlights the richness of the city’s creative scene but also offers visiting friends and family a unique experience rooted in place. That commitment to local craft extended throughout the home, including a custom dining table commissioned from a San Antonio artisan. To further honor the couple’s story, we incorporated subtle nods to Hemisfair, commemorating the husband’s San Antonio roots and his birth year, which coincided with the city’s iconic 1968 World’s Fair.
