ARCHIES - KING WILLIAMS

For the King William District location of Archie’s, we extended the brand’s expressive identity into one of San Antonio’s most historic neighborhoods, a place defined by character, heritage, and a vibrant community spirit.

Our design approach began with the brand promise: a place for gathering, creativity, and well-being. Drawing from the material language established in the other Archie’s locations, warm browns, rich textures, and hints of green, the palette was reinterpreted to complement the King William District’s architectural vernacular of painted brick facades, wrought-iron details, and tree-lined streets. Custom tile and surface patterns pay homage to the signature Archie’s aesthetic: the tile motif combines the rich earth tones of roasted coffee beans with green accents inspired by the brand’s plant-based offerings. Art continues to play a central role, with local collaborations that bring new life to the space through site-specific murals and whimsical illustrations celebrating the spirit of Archie’s.

The result is an interior that feels bold yet grounded, modern but deeply connected to its neighborhood. A coffee lounge that reflects both the brand’s evolution and the unique fabric of the King William District, inviting guests to experience community, craft, and comfort in every detail.
